Here, Mr. Cook is pointing at a wiring block leading into the D4 channel bank, and specifically at a portion that we use. These, as I understand things, are wired to the grey tie frame, shown in an earlier picture, and to the DS0 line cards, shown later.

The D4 channel banks have not been our friends.
