A T1 panel, showing 24 DS0 line cards, as well as the T1 send module and the T1 receive module. The DS0 cards are connected to the D4 channel bank (shown previous), and the T1 transmit and receive cards (the skinnier cards, on the left side, top shelf; I believe the receive module is the left-most card in the unit) are connected to the T1 repeaters.

It's interesting that we have no specific hardware for any given DS0 in our facility, but because we were forced to use line-side T1s, a specific box has to be designated to connect us just like other phone lines.
